BELVEDERE is the latest creation of Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. The name of the chair recalls the timeless elegance of the Belvedere Palace in Vienna, Austria’s most prestigious museum of art and tradition. The design is the result of a meeting between the refined heritage of traditional Viennese chairs and Kartell research into advanced materials and solutions. Viennese wickerwork combines with a frame of recycled plastic to create a lightweight, modern product. Though in apparent contrast, the two materials dialogue effectively to create an original stylistic blend. The result is a perfect balance between craftsmanship and technology, past and future.
